Top Dining in Charleston

Husk Restaurant:  Voted the "Best New Restaurant in America" in 2011 by Bon Appetit Magazine!  You don't want to miss out on dining at this restaurant.  Chef Sean Brock's approach is "If it doesn’t come from the South, it’s not coming through the door" and that is evident in his creative, yet simple menus.  *Note-menus change daily.  http://www.huskrestaurant.com/

Fat Hen:  Fat Hen pays homage to Charleston's unique Huguenot history by offering authentic French LowCountry cuisine.  http://www.thefathen.com/

Wild Olive:  Wild Olive combines traditional Italian design paired with unique one of a kind elements.  http://www.wildoliverestaurant.com/

Cypress, Magnolias, & Blossom:  These three sister restaurants are the epitomy of Southern Cuisine.  You can't go wrong by choicing any of the three.  Our personal favorite at Cobblestone is "Cypress."  A trendy inside features a wall filled with 4500 different kinds of wine and a menu to die for.  You have to try the Wasabi Tuna.  http://www.magnolias-blossom-cypress.com/cypress.asp?catID=20434

Oak Steakhouse:  Enjoy Prime, woodfired beef in this beautiful historical building.  Oak Steakhouse is housed in a 150 year old bank.  Their refined service in a welcoming atmosphere makes this one of Charleston's hot spots.  Especially with its elite location on Broad Street.  http://www.oaksteakhouserestaurant.com/

SNOB:  Slightly North of Broad or SNOB's as us locals call it.  This eclectic bistro, which features local ingredients, is sure to be a hit.  Located on East Bay Street, SNOB has something for everyone.  http://www.mavericksouthernkitchens.com/slightlynorthofbroad/

High Cotton:  One of our favorite LowCountry restaurants, High Cotton, was featured in a Nicholas Sparks book based Movie.  Located on East Bay Street, High Cotton has a thoughtful menu paired with beautiful presentations. The old heart pine floors and brick walls make you feel like you were transported back in time to the Colonial Days.  http://www.mavericksouthernkitchens.com/highcotton/

Peninsula Grill:  An elegant and favorite restaurant located in the historic Market district of Charleston. Peninsula Grill has been amazing diners with their fabulous 4 star, 4 diamond menu and service. http://www.peninsulagrill.com/index.htm

McCrady's:  If you are looking for a trendy menu that mixes something new with old favorite, than this is your place.  Located down an old, gorgeous Alley, McCrady's invites you in to try inventive cuisine fresh from their farm.  That's right-THEIR farm.  This is also a great spot to get a drink prior to dining downtown.  http://www.mccradysrestaurant.com/

Husk:  With a menu that changes daily, Husk is the newest restaurant to hit the Charleston area.  Led by a James Beard Award winning Chef Sean Brock, Husk features fresh, local ingredients. http://www.huskrestaurant.com/

Coast:  This is our favorite, casual restaurant in Charleston.  Tucked away in a little Alley, is a cool restaurant featuring the most fresh and delish seafood.  The old brick barn is also another historic building in the area.  Pick your fish, your seasoning and await the amazing smoky taste from the wood fired grill.  And be sure to try their tuna tartare appetizer.   http://www.coastbarandgrill.com/
